WELCOME TO THE GROOVY WONDERLAND
BEHIND THE BOTTLE -
The Groover came from our desire to expand our white wine range with something we could offer at a bigger scale. After the success of our Rizzling, we went back to the Hoch family. They told us that at the volume we wanted, we could actually blend the wine ourselves. So, off we went to Hollenburg, spending the day soaking in the vineyards with Christoph Hoch. The real fun began in the tasting room, where we were faced with 12 wines that we could use to blend. We’d never blended like this before, and let’s just say it turned into quite the experience! By the end, after many glasses, we settled on a blend—though we joked we weren’t even sure if it was as good as we thought! Once it arrived, we tasted it fresh—and it was better than we could have imagined. Crisp, vibrant, and like biting into the skin of a Granny Smith apple—The Groover was born.

What is easy drinking organic wine?
Easy drinking organic wine is exactly what it sounds like — wine made from organically farmed grapes that's designed to be enjoyed without the fuss. No additives, no unnecessary chemicals, and no need for a wine course to appreciate it. At Loco, we make organic wine that fits real life: sessions with friends, festivals, dinners, or just a Tuesday night on the sofa.
What makes Loco Wines different from other organic wines?
Most organic wine brands still play by the old wine rulebook — serious labels, intimidating language, and bottles that feel like they belong in a restaurant rather than your hand at a festival. We don't. Loco sits between commercial and natural wine: organically farmed grapes, minimal intervention where it matters, and bold branding that makes the whole thing feel like it was made for you. Clean wine. Clear conscience. Zero snobbery.
Is organic wine better for you?
Organic wine is made without synthetic pesticides, herbicides, or artificial additives — so you're getting a cleaner product from the ground up. It won't cancel out a big night, but many people find organic wine sits easier than conventional alternatives. All Loco wines are also vegan friendly and approved by The Vegetarian Society, so what's in the bottle is as straightforward as it gets.
What's the difference between organic wine and natural wine?
Natural wine is a broader, less regulated term — it generally means minimal intervention from vine to bottle, but there's no official certification. Organic wine is certified, meaning the farming practices are independently verified. At Loco, we lean into organic certification because it's a standard you can trust, while still keeping our winemaking as clean and hands-off as possible. Think of us as easy drinking organic wine with the integrity of natural wine — without the unpredictability.
What are the best occasions for Loco Wines?
Honestly? All of them. Session Fizz was built for festivals, gigs, and anywhere a bottle won't survive — it's our organic canned wine and the best festival drink going. PROST! is your pét-nat for occasions that deserve bubbles without the Champagne price tag. Rizzling and The Groover are your easy drinking organic white wines for everything from garden afternoons to dinner parties. Arriba is the orange wine that surprises people in the best way. And Left on Red is the chilled red wine that works wherever reds usually fear to tread. There's a Loco wine for every moment — that's kind of the whole point.
